【摘要】:ThispartofISO5983specifiesamethodforthedeterminationofnitrogencontentofanimalfeedingstuffsaccordingtotheKjeldahlmethod,andamethodforthecalculationofthecrudeproteincontent.Itissuitableforuseasasemi-microrapidroutinemethodusingblockdigestioncoppercatalystandsteamdistillationintoboricacid.Themethodisapplicabletothedeterminationofgreaterthan0,5%massfractionKjeldahlnitrogeninanimalfeedingstuffs,petfoods,andtheirrawmaterials.Themethoddoesnotmeasureoxidizedformsofnitrogennorheterocyclicnitrogencompounds.Themethoddoesnetdistinguishbetweenproteinnitrogenandnon-proteinnitrogenNOTEIfitisofimportancetodeterminethecontentofnon-proteinnitrogen,anappropriatemethodcanbeused.
