【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheamountofexpansionofamortarbarwhenitisstoredinwater.Theamountofmortar-barexpansionmayrelatetotheamountofsulfateinthecement;expansionmaybecomeexcessivewhenthecementcontainstoomuchsulfate.Somecementspecificationslimittheamountofsulfatecontainedinhydrauliccementbyrequiringthattheamountofexpansioninwaternotexceedaspecifiedvalue.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheexpansionofmortarbarsmadeusinghydrauliccement,ofwhichsulfateisanintegralpart.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(WarningFreshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
