【摘要】:1.1Scope.1.1.1Thisstandardcontainsminimumrequirementsforthedesign,installation,andmaintenanceoffoam-watersprinklerandspraysystems.Thesesystemsshallbedesignedwiththerequireddensityforeitherfoamorwaterapplicationasthecontrollingfactor,dependingonthedesignpurposeofthesystem.Itisnottheintentofthisstandardtospecifywherefoam-watersprinklerandsprayprotectionisrequired.Thedeterminationofwherefoam-watersprinklerandspraysystemsarerequiredshallbemadeinaccordancewithsuchapplicablestandardsasNFPA30,FlammableandCombustibleLiquidsCode,andNFPA409,StandardonAircraftHangars.1.1.2*Thisstandardshallapplyonlytosystemsusinglow-expansionfoam.
