【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardappliestoswitches(mechanicalorelectronic)forappliancesactuatedbyhand,byfootorbyotherhumanactivity,tooperateorcontrolelectricalappliancesandotherequipmentforhouseholdorsimilarpurposeswitharatedvoltagenotexceeding440Vandaratedcurrentnotexceeding63A.Theseswitchesareintendedtobeoperatedbyaperson,viaanactuatingmemberorbyactuatingasensingunit.Theactatingmemeberorsensingunitcanbeintegralwithorarrangedseparately,eitherphysicallyorelectrically,fromtheswitchandmayinvolvetransmissionofasignal,forexampleelectrical,optical,acousticorthermal,betweentheactuatingmemberorsensingunitandtheswitch.Switcheswhichincorporateadditionalcontrolfunctionsgovernedbytheswitchfunctionarewithinthescopeofthisstandard.Thisstandardalsocoverstheindirectactuationoftheswitchwhentheoperationoftheactuatingmemberorsensingunitisprovidedbyaremotecontrolorapartofanapplianceorequipmentsuchasadoor.Electronicswitchesmaybecombinedwithmechanicalswitchesgivingfulldiconnectionormicro-disconnection.Electronicswitcheswithoutamechanicalswitchinthesupplycircuitprovideonlyelectronicdisconnection.Therefore,thecircuitontheloadsideisalwaysconsideredtobelive.Forswitchesusedintropicalclimates,additionalrequirementsmaybenecessary.Attentionisdrawntothefactthatthestandardsforappliancesmaycontainadditionaloralternativerequirementsforswitches.Throughoutthisstandard,theword"appliance"means"applianceorequipment".ThispartofIEC61058isapplicablewhentestingincorporatedswitches.Whenothertypesofswitchesforappliancesaretested,thispartisapplicabletogetherwiththerelevantIEC61058-2.Thispartmay,however,beappliedforothertypesofswitcheswhicharenotmentionedinIEC61058-2,providedthattheelectricalsafetyisnotdisregarded.PriortothethirdeditionofUL61058-1,therequirementsfortheproductscoveredbythisStandardwereincludedinthesecondeditionofUL61058-1A.ThethirdeditionofUL61058-1supersedesthesecondeditionofUL61058-1A.
